- Did you know that tire pressure will vary by 1 psi. for every 12 degrees of temperature change which means tires lose pressure in the winter cold.
- Tire pressure should be checked twice a month and kept at the pressures shown on the placard on the driver's side door pillar while the tires are cold
- Check your spare tire pressure regularly (every 3 months).

- Tire tread determines how your car grips the road and becomes most important in inclimate weather.
- Most newer vehicles are equipped with a "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" (TPMS) which monitors the pressure in all four tires. The dash warning light will illuminate when the tire pressure has fallen below the safe low limit.
